Style:
Flemish Sour Ale or Flanders Red Ale -- depending on whom you ask.
I love this style and I wish I could afford to drink this more often.
The $6 bottle was excellent, but slightly less sour than my personal favorite, Rodenbach Grand Cru. Then again, maybe a side-by-side comparison would reveal more as the post-Palm buyout era has seen some changes in the quality. That being said, I'd give the Vin de Céréale a shot if I came across it.
Also, I do miss the Rodenbach Alexander.
