Welp, it probably tasted completely different at birth, but impressively the hop bitterness is still there- somewhere, lingering behind the sweetness I just barely feel it on the palate. The aroma is more barleywine. And while the pour still had some carb to it, it's mostly very fine small bubbles. It's surprising that it's not a drain pour, but it is past prime. That said I would like to stand it up to something like a barleywine of the same age.
